Penis Pumps Not A Good Choice For Erectile Dysfunction
Penis pumps, Viagra, Cialis, Levitra, penis stretchers, and penis implants, how is a guy with erectile dysfunction supposed to be able to reasonably choose what method will be right for him. This has to be most frustration because all of the campaigns claims there product is better than the other. Penis pumps and Viagra being the most popular of aiding a man in gaining and maintaining an erection, so how is he supposed to choose? Should he go to a doctor? The answer is yes. Sometimes erectile dysfunction can indicate an underlying illness, or maybe it is because of other medications, however the options are vast and getting the opinion of a physician is the wisest thing a man can do. However, many men opt out of this and head onto the internet seeking self help remedies for their dysfunction. This article is not going to focus on drugs, god knows there are many on the internet, but the topic discussion here is going to be on penis pumps.
To begin, penis pumps are just that. They pump up the penis. Typically a long tube is inserted over top of the penis where it creates a tight seal. The pumps draw the air out all the while drawing in and trapping blood into the penis. Once the blood is forced into the penis, an erection occurs. These pumps can be hand pumps or battery operated. Mechanical pumps can be a bit tricky and the suction process needs to be closely monitored because it is easy to over do it. Now for the problem of penis pumps. Typically once the pressure is released, the erection immediately starts to recede because the blood starts to flow back out. The erection rarely maintains itself for a man that suffers from erectile dysfunction. That is because an erection is maintained from blood flowing in, and then a chemical is released that constricts other vessels from allowing the blood to flow out. A pump does not help with those chemicals that causes the blood vessels to constrict.
The confusing part is that these pumps are marketed for erectile dysfunction when unfortunately that is not who they are intended for. Penis pumps are for perfectly functioning men that are able to maintain an erection. Why would a functioning man use a penis pump? For what they were manufactured to do, make the penis bigger! A man with a boner can use a pump in order to pack more blood into his penis and engorge it. Since his chemicals that restrict the blood flow from going out are perfectly fine, more blood stays into his penis. In other words, penis pumps are intended for men that want a bigger functioning penis.
